11 in Albany County, 1 in Saratoga County, 1 in Schenectady County
1 BUILDING CAPABILITY FORUM*:
2009: A Building Capability Forum was held in March 2009 for the first 20 participating outpatient programs.
WORKSHOPS:
a Building Recovery Workshop has yet to be conducted in the Northeastern Region, but will be scheduled as needed
Albany, in the Northeastern Region, was the site of CEIC’s first Leadership Forum, conducted at the end of January 2009. In March, representatives from provider agencies and county departments were invited to a “Regional Implementation Forum,” the precursor of the CEIC “Building Capability Forum.”
To date, CEIC technical assistance specialists have conducted on-site assessments of co-occurring capability of 33 outpatient programs (20 in 2008/2009 and 13 in 2010) in the Northeast Region (18 in Albany County, 2 in each of Columbia, Greene, and Rensselaer Counties, plus 3 in Saratoga County, 4 in Schenectady County and 2 Schoharie County).
Note: The Northeastern Region was recently reconfigured to include Fulton and Montgomery Counties, formerly part of a separate four-county region (Mohawk Valley), which has now been eliminated. The remaining two counties of what was the Mohawk Valley Region (Herkimer and Oneida) have been assigned to the Central Region.
*The Building Capability Forum noted above was, at the time, called an “Implementation Forum for Providers”, and was the precursor of the Building Capability Forum in its current form.
