1 LEADERSHIP FORUM:

Held on May 26, 2009 at West Brentwood in Suffolk County

122 ON-SITE ASSESSMENTS:

2009: 39 outpatient programs
15 in Nassau County, 24 in Suffolk County

2010: 43 outpatient programs
24 in Nassau County, 19 in Suffolk County

2011: 40 outpatient programs
10 in Nassau County, 30 in Suffolk County

9 BUILDING CAPABILITY FORUMS:

2009: 2 Building Capability Forums were held – 1 in September for Suffolk County; and 1 in November for Nassau County

2010: 3 Building Capability Forums were held – 2 in Suffolk County, one in March and one in October; and 1 in Nassau County in May

2011: 4 Building Capability Forums were held – 1 in Nassau County in March; 2 in Suffolk County, one in May and one in October [*see the NYC Region for a joint forum for FEGS programs in NYC and Long Island]; 1 additional Forum was held in November for Long Island programs (Nassau and Suffolk Counties) with a modified format focused on sustaining progress and achieving a “capable” level of integrated services

3 WORKSHOPS:

2010: 2 Building Recovery Workshops were held; 1 in June for Suffolk County (Cohorts 1 and 2 combined); 1 in November for Nassau County (Cohorts 1 and 2 combined)

2011: 1 Building Recovery Workshop was held in October for Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Cohort 3 and Cohort 4, respectively).

The Leadership Forum for the Long Island Region was held in May 2009. Technical assistance to date has been provided to some 121 Long Island programs (49 in Nassau County and 72 in Suffolk County).

Since then, on-site assessments of co-occurring capability have been conducted at 121 programs (49 in Nassau County and 72 in Suffolk County).

Nine Building Capability Forums have been held, 3 in Nassau County and 5 in Suffolk County. Subsequently, 3 Building Recovery Workshops were held, 2 in Suffolk County and 1 for programs from both Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

*Note: that the Building Capability Forum for the FEGS program group, which was held in New York City, included programs based in Long Island. Since more of the programs were located in NYC, the Forum was considered to be a NYC Region event.
