WORKSHOPS:
a Building Recovery Workshop has yet to be conducted in the Finger Lakes Region, but will be scheduled as needed
A Leadership Forum for the Finger Lakes Region was conducted March 2010. Additional contacts have been made in Ontario and Steuben Counties, where work is expected to continue.
By the end of September 2010, on-site assessments of co-occurring capability had been completed for 20 outpatient programs (9 in Chemung County, 2 in Schuyler County, 3 in Seneca County, 4 in Tompkins County, and 2 in Yates County). At the end of 2011, another 10 outpatient programs will have been assessed (3 in Allegany County and 7 in Ontario County), bringing the total number of assessments in the Finger Lakes Region to 30, which is inclusive of the large majority of outpatient providers in this region.
A Building Capability Forum was held on December 7, 2010 for all of the providers located in Chemung, Seneca, Schuyler, Tompkins, and Yates Counties. A second Building Capability Forum will be conducted once sufficient programs in the remaining Counties (Allegany, Ontario, Seneca, Steuben, and Wayne) have completed on-site assessments. CEIC will offer and coordinate Building Recovery Workshops (the full workshop title is “Building Recovery Oriented Outpatient Services”) and other follow-up technical assistance for the Finger Lakes Region as needed
